The organizers of IPQuorum 2018, an international strategic forum on intellectual property that will be held in Kaliningrad city (Russia) on April 11–12, have announced the central subject of the event: “Intellectual property – the new hero of the global market and the digital economy. Strategy, trends, industries.”
The participants of the event are going to discuss strategies for development of the IP global market for the good of digital economy.
The Forum will gather representatives of the «fine arts» (beaux-arts) and «industrial arts» (arts industriels) which happens quite rarely. Their consolidation and the convergence of their goals and objectives is exactly what we need for the intellectual property sector to enter a new phase of development worldwide and particularly in Russia.
Top world experts, relevant government departments, and dozens of Russian and foreign innovative companies providing advanced solutions for the IP sector have been invited to participate in IPQuorum 2018.
The Forum is to gather about 500 participants from more than 30 countries, making it one of the most significant events for the global intellectual property market.
The Forum is organized by the IPChain Association (Russian National Intellectual Property Transactions Coordination Center) and the Confederation of Rightholders’ Societies of Europe and Asia (CRSEA), non-governmental organization that unites national societies managing intellectual property rights in the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, the Commonwealth of Independent States, BRICS and other countries.
Coorganizers of the Forum are the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Kaliningrad Region and Skolkovo Foundation for Development and Commercialization of New Technologies.
The event is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
